Prospectus about done! Yep...finally...believe it? Neither do I...but alas, its almost done. Have a taste of some preview tracks down there in there player....Some things you wouldn't expect, but then more of what you've come to expect. Have a lovely day. LP Big Blanket Update (Because I've slacked off ;)) - Well....Prospectus looks like it will finally be a reality :) After much work, direction changes, tinkering, tweaking, its right where I had it in the first place. Note to self, don't over think. Anyway, looking at about 3 weeks....and there are a few surprise tracks ;) - Heading to Nashville....its not that I don't like Western New York, my friends, family, and bands, its simply a business decision. Afterall, my goal is to be able to write and record for a living...thus, I must place myself where that is most likely. Today, that seems to be Nashville. - Journey of Life Productions is as always, busting ass to get us out there. Through much work, JOL has us in front of several companies who regularly shop soundtrack tunes for film and television. These include; Disney, 20th Century Fox, Warner Brothers, ABC, Paramount Pictures, The Weinstein Company, HBO, Miramax, CBS, Screen Gems, Universal Pictures, Sony Pictures, Showtime, The Discovery Channel, Lionsgate Pictures, NBC - JOL is also working on our physical distribution with several chains including Barnes & Noble and Border's Books. Look for in-store acoustic sessions for this ;) I'm sure there is more going on, but it escapes me. I will post as it floats back into my head :) LP LWP and Journey of Life Entertainment I'm happy to annouce that the LWP Band has formed a partnership with Journey of Life Entertainment. The mind behind JOL, Christian Fisher, has had great success as not only an artist promoter, but and author/publisher. We've known Mr. Fisher for some time now and we anticipate good things going forward! - LP "Prospectus" recording sessions Finally, the final "Prospectus" recording sessions are going to happen this weekend. That release has been pushed out too far, and I was finally able to make time. If you liked Simple Little Equation, I think you'll enjoy Prospectus as well. Similarly varied, its the sifted version of the random ideas I had after SLE was done. Good times. Digital Distribution Starting to happen Hello again! Busy week...Thanks to the fine folks at cdbaby (www.cdbaby.com) my material is being put out to various digital distribution sites including... - Apple iTunes - AudioLunchbox - BuyMusic - Inprodicon - MP3tunes - Ruckus - Verizon - PayPlay - MusicIsHere - Bitmunk - Daiki - MP3-Extension - Rhapsody - Tradebit - Napster - SNOCAP Thanks again for your continued support! "Prospectus" preview tracks! These are the first few out of the shoot for the new disc. "Devil Woman" was done is the spirit of old school Chicago blues, which I've always wanted to do at least once, mission accomplished. "For Being" is a collaboration between myself and good friend Ray Barrett which is somewhat dark, but hook-ty...if that's possible ;) Check 'em out. INFINITY Entertainment Ltd. Backing INFINITY Entertainment Ltd., the parent company of INFINITY Records has decided to back my efforts! This isn't one of those "plucked out of everyday life and thrust into..blah blah blah" deals, but rather what I consider to be a mutually beneficial arrangement that will alow me to get my songs out and still live a semi-normal life. May be something, may be nothing...but it smells wonderful. - LP On-line Store up and functional ! Well, it took a little bit but my relationship with CD Baby is complete. There is now a "Store" button on the main page from which you can order CDs and other merchanise as it becomes available! "Prospectus" Sample Track! A tune called "If I Were You" Is now available in the website audio player. I did this a while back as a goof, but folks seemed to like it, so its going on the new disc. This is a rough mix, but you'll get the idea... - LP "Prospectus" moved out a bit Due to several personal things going on, the time just wasn't there to do this properly. Thus, I'm going to shove it out about 60-90 days. I think the product willbe much better for it.
